Each year the GRO issues the Rachel S. Core award to a graduate student(s), for their outstanding service to the graduate student body.  This year they had many qualified nominees, but ultimately the award was given to co-nominees Heba Islam and Marios Falaris, who spent countless hours raising concerns and bringing attention to the #JHToo movement, transforming the ways in which we talk about  and address gendered violence on campus.
