About Our Program

The Johns Hopkins University Women's Studies Program was founded in 1988 and was later expanded into the Program for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.

The Program has coordinated a rich array of course offerings for both undergraduate and graduate students.  It has sponsored lectures, symposia, seminars and workshops for faculty and students across disciplines, thus extending opportunities for faculty and students to address gender issues and interact in a variety of settings.
