Funding Resources

Undergraduate

Anthropology majors and minors are encouraged to apply for Provost’s Undergraduate Research Awards for research and writing projects, including the honors thesis. Freshman students may apply for the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship with a long-term project over multiple years. Graduate

The department provides funding for graduate students through their first four years of the Ph.D. program. Funding beyond the first four years and for summer fieldwork can be obtained through university sources or external sources.
