Applicants to the Anthropology Ph.D. program may visit the department during the Fall term only (Spring visits will not be possible).

We invite applications from students who have taken some anthropology courses during their undergraduate education. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required as well as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or IELTS for international students. A completed application, a resume, a statement of purpose, $75 for the application fee, three letters of recommendation, one writing sample and transcript(s) must be received by the yearly deadline. The application deadline for Fall 2014 is December 1, 2013. Spring Admission is not offered.

Please note: The Graduate Affairs and Admissions Office will only accept regular mail, Certified Mail, UPS, DHL and Fed Ex deliveries.

If applying to more than one department, please mail a complete application packet for each department to the Graduate Admissions Office.

 

All application documents must be provided in English (either the original or translations of the original documents). If you are unable to secure translations to English, we recommend that you contact World Education Services.
