Graduate students across disciplines are warmly invited to submit papers for the annual Graduate Student Conference in Anthropology at the Johns Hopkins University. This conference seeks to generate critical conversations on the concept of aspiration by attending to the multiple ways in which aspiration is enacted through self and relations.
The Conference invites both individual paper submissions and panel proposals from groups of four to six people. Deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, February 28 to firstname.lastname@example.org. For individual papers, please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words to the Organizing Committee with the subject heading. “Aspiration Conference Abstract.” If you are submitting a panel proposal , please subject the heading “Aspiration Conference Panel” and attach abstracts for each member of the panel.
